The short version

Cancel Path has no account, no ads and no analytics. Everything stays on your device.

What the app stores

The subscriptions you type in (name, price, billing cycle, next charge, notes), your cancellation records and confirmation numbers, which guide steps you ticked, and the optional name and email used to fill cancel letters. This is stored on your device only (in the browser's local storage for the web version).

What leaves your device

Only what you choose to share: when you tap Share, Copy, Export or Email, the text or file goes to the app you pick (Messages, Mail, Calendar, Files and so on). We don't see it. The app never connects to your bank, card or email and never asks for passwords. "Open page" links open the company's own website in your browser.

Purchases

Cancel Path Plus is sold by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). They process payment and tell the app whether Plus is active; the app re-checks this with the store when it starts. We don't receive your payment details.

Children

Cancel Path is for adults. It collects no personal information from anyone.

Your choices

You can view, edit, back up or delete all data in the app at any time. Because we hold no copy, we can't recover data you delete or lose with a device; please keep a backup.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
