The short version

Party Brief has no account, no ads and no analytics. Everything stays on your device.

What the app stores

Party details you type in (name and age of the guest of honor, date, place, budget, likes and dislikes, diet notes), guest names and RSVPs, shopping and spending, gifts and thank-you status, and your sign-off. This is stored on your device only (in the browser's local storage for the web version).

What leaves your device

Only what you choose to share: when you tap Share, Copy, Export or Email, the text or file goes to the app you pick (Messages, Mail, Calendar, Files and so on). We don't see it. Invites and thank-yous are plain text you send yourself through your own messages or email app; Party Brief never contacts your guests.

Purchases

Party Brief Plus is sold by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). They process payment and tell the app whether Plus is active; the app re-checks this with the store when it starts. We don't receive your payment details.

Children

Party Brief is for adults. It collects no personal information from anyone.

Your choices

You can view, edit, back up or delete all data in the app at any time. Because we hold no copy, we can't recover data you delete or lose with a device; please keep a backup.

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
